X'larah Kathas

X'larah Kathas was born in one of the many off branches of the X Tribe. Her father, Kathas Nuhn, was in charge of everything and ran his tribe with his iron fist. He truly did care for his family and did all he could within his power as a Nuhn to care and support them. His small family grew to became a small, popular trading location. Far and wide throughout Ul'dah and its surrounding territories did their name spread, but so did worries. Worries that with how popular their tribe was becoming, Kathas would lose his spot as Nuhn to someone younger and stronger than him. In his desperation for power, he alligned himself with the Beast Tribe of the Amalj'aa in their effort to summon the primal, Ifirit.Without the blessing of Light, his entire tribe fell to the tempering of the primal- everyone but Larah. She happened to be out on a delivery and only just returned to see the devastation her father had brought to her family. In his crazed and maniac state, he took her as she was the eldest of their tribe to train and become his 'weapon' against anyone who would harm his name and tribe.During this time, Kathas had come into contact with a strange, blackened stone- carved with a strange symbol and radiating dark energy. With no knowledge of what it was, and only knowing it was full of power, the manic leader fused his aether with the stone to fuse it within his daughter to see what powers it could grant her.All he did was seal his fate.Larah, unable to fully control her new powers gifted to her by the dark stone, blasted her father with a charge of Astral fire that destroyed his very body. Stricken with grief, she fled her home- escaping from her deranged and tempered family to places unknown.Over the coming years, Larah would come to find the stone placed in her body was that of the Black Mages of years past- how it found its way to her, she would never know, as the stone was now bound to her by soul and body alike.In order to try and fix herself, she took to the lands of Coerthas to the city of Ishgard. She had heard tales of healers who used their powers to rejuvenate the body and heal it back to how it once was. There she began the trade of learning to become a Astrologian, but with her darkened stone cursing her very aether, she is still in the learning stages.Recently, thanks to a experiment and a mistake she made- Larah is currently in a... strange situation. A Fantasia that was crafted by her own hands has transformed her into a Viera and Miqo'te hybrid. Currently, she is attempt to fix herself but she part of her is... adjusting- to her new form.

Personality

X'larah Kathas, or just 'Larah' as she likes to be called, is a shy and introverted Vi'qote that loves to study and expand her horizons. Typically she is seen with her face in a book or writing away at a novel- hiding away her face and making sure no one makes eye contact with her. It's hard for her to make connections as she finds it hard to approach people and actually start a conversation.Once you get her talking, however, it can be seen that Larah is actually a sweet and kindhearted person that only wishes for people to be happy. If you are injured, she will be there for you. If you are sad, she will be there to offer a shoulder to lean on and a kind, yet awkward smile to give.
